Many people have asked me what does "TaggedZi" mean.  It was a handle I took up in the early 90's, and have used it ever since.

About Me

I am Matthew Craig.  I am a jack of "many" trades.  My specialties are welding and oddly enough PHP coding.  I have a strong love for mathematics and geometry, along with many of the physical sciences.  I find this with a decent handle on logic makes for a good programmer.  So, I am a programer who loves to tinker in other things. 

Past Jobs

Believe it or not, I've done a very wide variety of jobs.  I've worked for nuclear power plants, I've mowed lawns, I've worked as a mechanical engineer for a world leader in defense contracting just to name a few. My primary focus however seems to be computers, no matter what I've done in the past it has been "that job" plus computers and networking, usually web development or design, or programing and repair.

Education

I have a meager education from a small private school in High School, to the top of my class in college.  I have graduated (with honors) from Miami-Dade College with an associates in arts (AA) in Mechanical Engineering.  I later moved on to FIT (Florida Institute of Technology) where I focused on Robotics and Artificial Intelligence, and from there into the work force.  Most of my professional education has been self taught, with a few exceptions.  I have attained my Comptia A+ certification.  I am currently perusing my HTML/CSS/PHP/Javascript certifications from W3 Schools, and hope to eventually get my Zend PHP Enginering Certification.  I have been coding in PHP for over 5 years and have never stopped learning. 

Currently

I am now a full time "Programmer Analyst" for an established company in North Carolina.  I am NO LONGER a freelance developer.  I have officially hung up my spurs so to speak, and looking forward to a long term mutually beneficial work relationship.
