Lubuntu 10.04 LTS In my recent assault on my computers to find the perfect OS for them, I had a unique problem.  I have a very old PC (AMD Duron 1 GZ, 512 MB ram, and a Voodo 4 Video card).  It was running a spyware/malware loaded version of Windows XP when I got it and it ran horrible. openSUSE 11.3 Last week I had to experiment with several different OS's to achieve what I've been looking for.  A home PC capable of playing games and performing normal house hold tasks with the strength to also function as a Name based virtual host and php coding development platform with "older" equipment. Fedora Core 13 In the last week I have installed and tried to use 6 distributions of linux.  This is my review of Fedora Core 13 Link Fedora Project Home Page Instillation I give the instillation a 5 out of 10.  While much easier than the early releases of red hat, The partition setup was a bit convoluted.  I am used to having to manually fdisk, format, and setup my hard drives manually.  I had a hard time trying to figure out what the GUI was asking for in some places. ...
